Reservations & enquiries

Please contact us by phone or email for enquiries and reservations.

Day 1: Boggomsbaai

Check in and settle in
  • Meet at Sandpiper Cottages, Boggomsbaai (near Mossel Bay).
  • We’ll show you around your accommodation and explain our Pondokkie Logistics: how to use the gas and such.
  • Settle in and light the braai fire!

Day 2: Point of Human Origins to Boggomsbaai

18 km; mostly beach walking
  • Your hiking guide will meet you at Pondokkie (remember to pack your day-packs with lunch and water, as well as sun-block, and extra memory cards for your cameras!)
  • Transfer by road to Pinnacle Point.
  • Caves visit with specialist site guides at the Point of Human Origins.
  • Guided coastal walk via Boggomsbaai to Pondok.

Day 3: Boggomsbaai to Kanon

21 km; beach and coastal walking
  • Remember those lunch packs!
  • Guided walk from Boggomsbaai along the beach and rocky shore via Fransmanshoek - a small nature reserve with abundant bird life and beautiful veld flowers, where you can enjoy snorkeling and swimming in the secluded bay. (The French ship La Fortune was wrecked here in 1763 - hence Fransmanshoek, or ‘French Corner’).
  • Visit Kanon Private Nature Reserve, about 3 km east of the Gourits River Mouth, which protects one of the few remaining patches of Gourits Coastal Dune Thicket.
  • Visit ancient Khoi San fish traps and giant dunes along the way - and climb them, if you’re fit enough!
  • Road transfer to Pondok

Day 4: Goodbye :(

Sorry it has to end...

Check out and goodbye (Sniff!)

See you next year!
